We finally have a show that is trying to fix the divide of religions, a show saying we are all praising the same God and no one is really wrong, love and unity is the answer. god’s favorite idiot is far from being a normal show, It will birth more experimental writing from other producers alike, Let’s talk about it…..
The most impressive part of all this is the casting and character development, a show about a random guy being chosen by God needed a lot of thinking, the producers made sure that all of the main and supporting cast on here are the nicest people you can think of, this was done to make sure that the evil characters shine more for what they are trying to represent.
I have seen transitions in comedy but this show takes it to another level, A scene can get so serious and scary but then change to a playful setting in just 3 minutes, One minute you are seeing Satan flaming everything on sight, the next minute you see Clark making chicken in the kitchen for his dad, these transitions are not be taken for granted, as it takes a lot to make sure they don’t come out as mediocre.
What is our favorite part of the show? The Council of Clark (COC), The humor behind it is comedic gold, how they were able to set this up in order to finish us off with COC sidebar on the last episode of the season. If you love Community, The Office you will definitely love this gem,
